A 32-year-old female asked:
Which drug are you more likely to have side effects from: nexium or prilosec?

Thoracic Surgery 37 years experience
Similar: Nexium seems to work faster for most patients but the medications are very similar and have similar side affect profiles. Need to consult with pharmacist about possible interactions with other medications or supplements you may be taking
