Sinusitis: Facial pain associated with headache and stuffy nose can be attributed to sinusitis. The best way to treat Sinusitis is a 3 prong approach: Hypertonic nasal saline wash daily (2 packets of salt solution per bottle), Sudafed (psuedoephedrine version), and mucinex to liquefy the mucus. Drink lots of fluids (2-3 liters/day) and use Acetaminophen/Ibuprofen for pain. Antibiotics only as a last resort

? sinusitis: I would certainly wonder about an acute sinus infection, and this might well be helped by antibiotics, decongestants, and nasal rinses. Suggest you contact your doctor and deal with this ASAP, as these problems have a tendency to get persistent. Other causes of headaches and facial pain are possible but less likely based upon description.
