Chronic Sinusitis: Chronic sinusitis is defined as sinus inflammation lasting longer than 12 weeks. It is typically treated with antibiotics for a period of 4-6 weeks, sometimes in conjunction with saline irrigation and antihistamines, depending on the suspected cause. A head CT is usually only needed if medial treatment fails.
