A member asked:

Can an abdominal ct with contrast show stomach problems and the part of the esophagus that's closest to the stomach, like a stricture or pyloric valve part?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Stomach problems: Abdominal CT with oral contrast can help with those diagnoses but without that no. Even then milder conditions may need an endoscopy to evaluate better and they can even dilate the stricture if one is present at the same time.
