My 1year old has a bad rash on his bum that doesn't seem like normal diaper rash, maybe not even a yeast rash... it has had a really raw patch for 3 days. looks more like eczema? he's also had diarrhea almost every diaper for 3 days. is desitin best?

Desitin is ok: You need to protect the skin with an ointment barrier such as Vaseline, Butt paste, zinc oxide ointment and the like. Reapply after each diaper change, and if possible let the derrière air out for a while, so the skin can breath. Treat the diarrhea if this continues . Good luck
