I noticed acute pain upper left side of my back along with my left chest. i thought it is muscles pain but actually i developed shingles on back and chest. any suggested otc cream to remove the lesions and avoid scar?

Shingles: If you have open lesions then any topical is not recommended. You need to be on antivirals from your doctor first. Lesions are part of the shingles and will go away on their own - usually no scar seen once healed.
