My husband plays cricket, now on left side below ribs it hurts when moving. there is no swelling or bruise. applied muscle pain cream but pain is still there on far left side. no fever, chills, nausea or anything other symptoms but only this pain?

Heat and Motrin: Apply local heat and use Motrin for pain The rib cage is made of muscle and is inflamed.
