Assessment: Please call your son’s pediatrician and review his symptoms with the doctor. It is important to get a physician to assess him and develop a treatment plan. 2 weeks is a long time for a child that age to be sick. Good luck

Possible asthma?: A persistent cough without fever is always worrisome for asthma/wheezing, & that can definitely lead to vomiting (often there is phlegm in the stomach. There may or may not be an infection present but your son needs a Dr exam & possibly a chest X-ray & nebulizer treatment.
