I had ear pain, so doctor prescribe otek-ac neo eardrops. i had an opened bottle from mid-june 2020, which i used for 2 days(nov 26,27). later i realize we should not use chloramphenicol ear drops 4 week after opening. will it cause any side effect?

No side effects: Usually there would not be any side effects. Once the expiry period has gone, usually the efficacy of the medications declines rapidly so it is not recommended to be used as you may not notice a benefit and the disease will continue to worsen. Advise to get brand new medications especially for infections.
