A member asked:

Doctor cleaned my ear and prescribed ear drops, but the next morning my ear was bleeding. should i use the drops or tell the doctor? possible causes?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Absolutely call doc: Only your doctor knows what was found and what treatment was performed on you. Bleeding may be little more than a scratch on the ear canal, but don't take a chance by adopting a wait-and-see attitude. Be assured, your doctor will be much happier hearing from you than having to address possible progression of a complication later.
