Get checked: Except for the pain the swelling may be caused by edema from poor circulation or heart pumping problem which at your age is rare but still possible. Another cause could be allergic reaction to something you ate or were exposed to. The pain you are experiencing could be from a tooth, sinus issue, or facial pain disorder. See the doctor first to address the swelling and pain.
