Blood clot?: Swelling of one leg only could represent a blood clot, which in some instances can break off, and clog the blood flow from the heart to the lung. Small clots are ok, but large clots can cause instant death. If this is new, seek medical attention right away. May need an ultrasound of the leg to make this determination. Hope this helps!
