Yes: Relatively common, imaging studies may reveal finding suggesting cancer, so called incidental findings. Not all prove to be cancer, usually dedicated studies, including biopsy, are needed.

Depends: If the abdominal scan included lower part of the chest and lungs it could show lesion in the lung including those suggestive of cancer. Wish you good health!
