Too young for screen: Prostate cancer screening has pros and cons; but it is not useful for younger men. Don't bother for 10 years. If you have multiple sexual partners, however, you should be screened for sexually transmitted infections, and hopefully you are taking appropriate preventive precautions. Talk about this with your family doctor.

Varies: Prostate cancer screening includes a digital (finger) rectal exam and a PSA (prostate specific antigen) test. Men over 50, those who have a close relative who had it or those of native African lineage are more often at risk. The American Cancer Society recommends screening as early as 40 in high risk groups. Discuss this with your doc.
