Arm,hand pain: I assume there has been no injury, strain, swelling or skin discoloration. Common causes of elbow pain are tendinitis or epicondylitis(tennis elbow). Tendinitis of the wrist or carpal tunnel syndrome causes wrist and hand discomfort. An inflammation of a vein has associated tenderness and may cause swelling. See a physician for evaluation if symptoms persist.
