Can someone who is uninsured get ongoing care for a chronic condition using an online doctor, primarily or preferably from healthtap?

Chronic Condition: Obviously treating anyone over the internet does not involve any physical examination. Insured or not, virtual consultations need to be paid by the patient. Long term prescribing of medications may not be the best route to take for online medicine, but try the paid portion of HealthTap to see if one of the physicians is willing to accept this patient.

Contact health plan: To know for sure whether telemedicine visits will be covered, it’s best to contact a representative at your health plan.
