That's a problem: That medication is a class 2 controlled substance closely monitored by the feds. Any doc who prescribes it without a proper evaluation/reason for use & records can lose their drug use permit & face disciplinary action. You will need to check around for any local clinics that might serve you on a sliding scale/self pay. Otherwise get on an insurance plan. Good luck.

Need visit: I'm sorry you are running into the bad side of medicine - insurance problems. No doctor is going to prescribe your Adderall without seeing you first. Short term , call your previous doctor in North Carolina and see if they can help you with a one month prescription. Then call University of Virginia medical school and see if you they can get you in. Cost of medicine is also going to be a problem
