Hello dr,i've been having a discomfort around my lower left abdomen,sometimes painful. should i be worried?

Accompanying symptom: If Lower Left Abdominal discomfort is relatively new and persisting one should note what makes it better or worse and other accompanying symptoms and do a Face to Face and possibly Hands -on Physical with a Doctor for Diagnosis and treatment.

Abdominal discomfort: Yes, lower abdominal pain if persistent or recurrent needs to be evaluated further. It depends what other symptoms are associated with it. Should see your primary care for a more thorough history and physical exam and they can then recommend further tests if needed. I would not say you should be worried but you should get it evaluated further.
