See a dentist or ENT: The firm nodule under your ear is the big concern. It could be an affected lymph node or parotid gland. The bad taste and lack of saliva would suggest the latter. The question is why is it firm? Infection, cancer, blockage? Go see a dentist or ENT physician asap and get it checked out. The longer you wait, the worse it will get. And have your throat checked at the same time.

Seek consult: There are several possible causes for the metallic taste you are experiencing. I'm more concerned about firm nodule under your ear. I would consult with an oral surgeon or an ENT doctor to come up with a diagnosis.
