Crohn's disease?: Wow! "Many years" and no medical evaluation to report? But must have been done -- otherwise no way to know about "mass in upper colon". Maybe not just one problem. Inflammatory bowel disease is a good bet -- more likely Crohn's disease rather than ulcerative colitis. Keep working with your doctor(s); and see a gastroenterologist if that hasn't been done. I have an "attack" of lower abdomen cramps & constipation that lasts a few days once every year for 3 & half years. I've had blood in stool in the past not sure if its connected. My primary doc does not think I have colon cancer. Worried. Can it be?
