I had what i thought was a mole under my nail but my dr said it was a splinter hemorrhage. had an echo and all was good. three months later i have two again both on my thumbs, more towards the bottom of the nails by the cuticles. what could cause?

Need more info: If you had trauma to the nails that may be an explanation. If that is not likely you may need to be re-evaluated. If you have fever and/or lost weight it is an urgent matter.
