Scared that my child has melanoma. it was a new mole on his thumb and he peeled it off, this was 6-7 months ago. he peeled it using nail clippers. as i suffer from anxiety, i think his mole was on his thumb but sometime i think it is somewhere else.

Have it looked at: Melanoma is rare in kids but the only way to evaluate the possibility is to have him seen. Obsessing over the issue is a waste of time and energy. It either is/is worth a more thorough testing or is not.
