Hi my 3 year old salon has had a soft limp behind his ear at the top for nearly a year. it isnt hard or green any bigger. what could it possibly be?

Painful?: If the enlargement is painful, please consider a course of antibiotics and an ultrasound. He should be examined for other areas of swelling, particularly if he has not been well. Very often benign enlargement of one lymph node will eventually decrease in size. Please follow up with your pediatrician.
