I found a hard pea sized lump behind my 2 year olds left ear on the scalp. it is skin colored but seems to bother him a little when i touch, thoughts?

Probably lymph node: Probably a lymph node. If it does not clear up in a week or two, I would get it checked out. Also, if there is any fever, with it, he may need to be evaluated. Could also be a pimple that is a bit deeper under the skin. Same advice applies either way.
