hydration: Continue to provide soothing non acidic fluids, vanilla ice cream and keep your daughter well hydrated. She may have viral stomatitis but she should be evaluated by her pediatrician to rule out other causes such as Kawasaki disease. Monitor her temperature, treat fever and watch for rash, peeling skin and fever. Please see the emergency department if she seems listless or has these symptoms.
