Viral: It is most likely a viral lesion. If it does not resolve in a few days you should have the pediatrician check it.

Gingivostomatitis: If they are inside the mouth, it is gingivostomatitis which is a virus. It can be associated with a very high fever, so be prepared. Encourage a lot of fluids that are cold, because chances are she wont want to eat too much.
