On my blood test it says iron binding capacity is 206 low what does that mean and should i take anything for it??

Iron: There are two other tests looking at iron metabolism in your body. These include the level of iron in your blood and also a test called ferritin. These three tests help determine your current iron status. If the iron binding Capacity is low it could mean that you have too much iron but the other two tests mentioned above are needed to clarify. Discuss this with your doctor.

See below: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context. The doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your level is normal. Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.
