PMS ?'s: At 40 years, PMS may be increased b/c estrogen is higher as your brain stimulates your ovaries to produce egg maturity for ovulation. This higher estrogen dropping just prior to ovulation and just prior to your menses creates a more extreme emotional withdrawal. Endometriosis is unrelated to PMS. Ask your gyn about low dose oral bcp's, which will stop ovarian estrogen.

RECURRENT PAIN: The most likely reason for recurren pelvic problems is recurrence of endomtriosis. Be prepared for recommendation of hysterectomy, removal of tubes and ovaries and hormonal replacement therapy after seeing trusted, Board-Certified Gyn.
