How long does it take for antibiotics to heal up a infected benign cyst? it was removed a day ago by simple excision at my pcp office. it doesnt hurt but doc said it was infected. i am on amoxicillin?

Cyst healing?: Only the dr who did your drainage can answer this. You did not say where it was fir example. Depending on what the puss looked and smelled like may help make prediction better as well as knowing how deep it was and what was in it. Discuss with local team.

TAKE THE MEDS: Where was this cyst? Take the antibiotics as prescribed and complete the course. When you cut into the skin it opens the first line of defense so the antibiotic is typical for a procedure like this.
