Why does fucidin topical have a warning label that says do not put in nose, eyes or mouth? what would happen if you used fucidin in any of these areas?

Fucidin: Fucidin is a topical cream for the skin that is an acidic compound. Use in the mouth, ears or nose would cause severe irritation. It is advisable not to touch those areas. until you have washed your hands, especially if there is any infection in the area you applied it to. You could spread the infections.
