Nausea/bloating: Yes it is possible, if there are no gallstones or infection then it may not cause any pain and just cause nausea and /or bloating. It is more of a functional problem and your gastroenterologist can do a HIDA scan to assess further. Nausea/bloating are symptoms that can be caused by stomach, liver, intestine problems as well. Would need a good history , examination and labs for evaluation.
