I have recently been told i have mgus - have an igm of 6. being seen every 6 mths for blood tests. for the past 3 days i have had really bad pain when swallowing - no sore throat, just painful when i swallow. is this related? should i see a doc?

Yes: You are experiencing dysphagia or odynophagia and an exam should clarify its cause. If related or not to your MGUS will have to be determined based on the actual cause.
