Just discovered what i think are pinworms in my child's stool, she had abdominal discomfort too. she's 7 and around 26kg. was told to give albendazole 200mg qd for 3 days. another doctor said 400mg single dose. which is preferable? thanks for input?

400 mg albendazole: In one dose for children older than 2, dose to be repeated in 2-3 weeks is the recommended dose. Make sure her pediatrician is reviewing doses and possible interactions with current meds. Hands hygiene is critical in the household as other members may become carriers.
