Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. You should not be getting swollen tonsils. It would be prudent to see your doctor, preferably an ENT doctor. Wish you good health!

Gland: Probably not, but what you are seeing is probably normal anatomy. Swollen tonsils, however, are not. Please seek evaluation by a specialist ENT.
