Had bell's palsy in feb. healed a lot, but still not 100%. main problem is a hole in a tooth on affected side, but it's causing excruciating pain on my temple and nerves...etc, even after antibiotics. worried about dentist and permanent nerve damage?

Dental pain: It sounds like you need good dental care, which should not worsen your residual Bell’s palsy.

Toothache: Antibiotics alone will not resolve the excruciating pain associated with that large carious lesion. The nerve is probably necrotic and releasing toxins into your jaw. What is your worry? You need to be seen ASAP. Although permanent nerve damage is rare from an infected tooth, it is not unheard of.
