Possible impetigo: Impetigo is a bacterial infection of the skin.It can be caused by several different bacteria, most commonly though it is caused by a strep infection of the skin. It requires either topical or oral antibiotics. It may be helpful to have you child's doctor look at the rash. If you are afraid to actually go in to the office, could show doctor the rash with video on computer and do virtual visit.

Rash: It is very difficult to diagnose skin lesions via basic HealthTap. If the lesions have been present longer than a week, a visit to your doctor, or HealthTap consult, urgent care or telehealth may be helpful.
