Took monistat 1 suppository mon (11/9), symptoms seemed to have subsided for couple days. however still have some itching & burning. curious if two days into treatment if most of the medicine came out & didnt fully treat. should i take another dose?

Itching to see MD: Since itching is persisting post Monistat Rx., it would be a good idea to make sure it is a yeast infection that you are treating by seeing a GYN MD under these circumstances. Sometimes it is not a yeast infection and the Monistat will be ineffective. The GYN MD can assess if that is the "correct diagnosis" and offer a more effective remedy if it is.
