Molar pregnancy ?: If a molar pregnancy is detected, the HCG levels by tissue remaining in the uterus will need to reach zero to be certain no molar tissue remains. If this has not happened, see your gyn for an exam and possible minor procedure as well as another HCG test. Persistent HCG levels need to be closely watched, as other treatments may be necessary.

Check report: A laboratory may report the result as less than 5 that may be interpreted as 5. In reality less than 5 could be zero. Ask your doctor to check with the lab where the test was done. Wish you good health!
