Hi doctor i saw a neurologist in may, he suspects parkinson's. i spoke to my gp and she contacted the neurologist and they stated me on sinemet 25/100 half tablet 3 x a day in mid aug. how long does it take for the medicine to take full effect. ?

Parkinson's/Sinemet: I understand your desire to have improvement in your symptoms. Please make a List of the following changes from starting of Sinemet: • Stiffness of muscles • Expression of face • Tremors • Posture and Balance • Walking • Speed of movements in task • Speech • Writing After that see the Neurologist and discuss change in symptoms and adjustment of dose of Sinemet as needed.
