Yes... : Both EKG and ECG refer to an electrocardiogram. This is a simple, non-invasive test which gives valuable information about the heart such as heart rhythm, whether there is a heart attack, etc. It is very commonly done by both primary care doctors and cardiologists. Best of luck to you!
