Recently there has been a popping sound in my right ear when i open my jaw widely. is this tmj and if so what are the necessary precautions to take?

Popping sound: May be TMJ disc out of place, arthritis in jaw joint, fluid in ear, ear infection, or so many other possibilities. First, stop opening wide to see if it's still popping. Then call your Dentist for an examination before this gets worse.
