HRCT: An HRCT may be indicated if there is brisk bleeding. If the bleeding is scant and associated with recent or ongoing infection, the airway lining or upper airway may be sources of bleeding. Have a sample analysis and nasal swab to determine if there is an influenza or COVID 19 infection. A course of antibiotics to treat bacterial illness can be prescribed as indicated during a virtual consult.
