Yes, it is possible to have nosebleed from rhinitis on top of bronchitis. Bloody phlegm is due to tainting pulmonary mucus with blood in the back throat. In general, all symptoms should resolve within the next 7 days. Due to the presence of shortness of breath, chest X-ray should be done if shortness of breath gets worse or symptoms do not abate by next week. Good luck.

The source of the bleeding should be determined. Most often the nasal passages are inflamed with an infection. The use of nasal saline spray may provide relief.
