I have vaginal itchiness. my pap smear test is normal. my gp gave me clotrimazole, metronidazole, fluconazole(oral) but nothing worked and she can't figure this out. i'm worried what this could be. ps: i have anal itching & constipation problem too?

Treat exact cause!: It is imperative that your dr identifies and treats the exact cause: you may have yeast, Trichomonas, Chlamydia etc. Appropriate and specific tests are available for the most common vaginal infections and you should have them ordered by your GP or by a gynecologist. Once the microrganism is known, it will be easy to treat.

I am taking metronidazole for bv. I believe it's giving me a yeast infection because I'm starting to get itchy. Can I take Fluconazole even though I'm still taking the antibiotic. Or should I just get some monistat?
