Last year september i got a cold which made my voice hoarse for a week & phlem in my chest. its been a year and my chest still feels the same. at night i make wheezing sounds when i breath. i dont smoke and never had any chest related problems. ?

Asthma: I believe that that infection last year sensitized your bronchial tree causing nocturnal asthma and/or a degree of chronic bronchitis. I recommend seeing your physician or a pulmonologist for evaluation and treatment.A chest xray may be advised.
