Selfcleansing vagina: The vagina is self cleansing and needs nothing in the way of a douche. The vulva also can do with simple soap and water such as Dove, Caress, or Ivory externally only to avoid changing the bacterial stability of the vagina when scented soaps are used instead. Many vaginal infections are caused by scented body washes or frequent douching.

PLEASE Don't...: Please do not put those irritation chemicals inside your vagina. Besides causing changes in the local environment in the vagina, we have no idea yet whether things like these can potentially lead to birth defects. The vagina cleans itself - does not need assistance from man-made irritants. Don't need to use anything inside vagina to "clean".
