Hi doctors, i have a question regarding anal fissure/abscess. i doubt that its an abscess, based on images ive seen looks more like anal fissures. i wanted to know who i can go to for them to cut&drain this and if classic smart plan will cover this?

Start with GP: Before jumping to treatment make sure you have the diagnosis confirmed with your GP. Fissures are not commonly cut and/or drained and they are typically seen in inflammatory bowel disease. If surgery needed your GP will be able to advise based on your insurance plan.
