So the laxative i took last night worked like a miracle, however i saw blood. i assume it was stiil hemorrhoids because i felt a lump and it didn't hurt so it couldn't be anal fissures right doc? it's been here since february. is this normal?

Wrong: At your age I would not assume hemorrhoids.The more common issue would be an anal fissure that often arises after a bulky or lumpy stool passes. It may or may not hurt at the time or while healing, They also can heal with a knot like lump during their initial healing phase. Keep your diet so your stools are soft & this should heal over time.

Taking Stool Softeners and increasing your water intake every day may also help with this problem. If you are constipated or have hard stools, it is difficult to have this problem heal properly.

Treat fissure: Fissure needs to be treated too. Banding will not resolve that. See a contextual surgeon.
