Evaluation: The inflammation of the lining of the lung called the pleura may be inflamed. The chest wall muscles may be strained from coughing or increased effort. Continue to isolate for at least a total of 14 days or at least three days without fever or symptoms, whichever is longer. Drink fluids, rest, monitor temperature. If symptoms worsen, please see your PCP. Secondary pneumonia may occur.

COVID 19: Continue follow up with your doctor. Unfortunately pulmonary symptoms from COVID 19 may require a prolonged period to heal. Get emergency care for difficulty breathing, blue lips or face, significant & persistent chest pain or new-onset of confusion.
