Evaluation: A series of tests and an ENT appointment are recommended. Recurrent nose bleeds should be evaluated. Avoid aspirin based products, place firm pressure on the bridge of the nose with a cool compress for at least five minutes when this occurs. The bleeding should stop within five minutes, otherwise please see the ED. Lab tests will include platelets and a coagulation panel.
